The Haifan Baha'i Faith is the largest Baha'i sect currently in existence. It was founded after the death of Shoghi Effendi by the Custodians. Shoghi Effendi's death left a power vacuum, allowing for the Custodians to assume control of the Baha'i Faith. The Custodians were:
