Then we witness that He was One in His attributes and all attributes were cut off from the realm of His holiness, and this is what he has destined for himself, if you are among the knowledgeable. Then know that the multiplicity of the worlds of attributes and names will not be attributed to His essence, because His attributes are exalted in His essence, and no one will know how this is except He, the Almighty, the Most High, the All-Forgiving, the Merciful. And all these names and attributes return to His prophets, messengers, and chosen ones, because they are mirrors of attributes and places of manifestation of names. Otherwise, He, Exalted be He, is hidden in His essence and attributes, and He reveals all of that in His prophets through the Most Beautiful Names and the Highest Attributes, so that no soul is deprived of recognition of the attributes in the majesty of names. This grace is from Him upon all the worlds, and for the one who is united in this station, it is a right to be granted success in himself, that the manifestation of these attributes in the messengers of Allah was nothing but His Attributes, exalted be He, where He will not witness the difference between Him and them, except that their attributes appeared by His command and were created by His will. This is the truth of monotheism in this station; we have cast you with grace to be among the steadfast. The knower will not witness anything in the heavens or on earth except that he sees Allah established over it, and he witnesses, through the secret tongue of all things, that there is no god but He, the Almighty, the Great. The knower ascends to a station where he witnesses the traces of Allah's manifestation in everything, and in doing so, he reaffirms to himself that He was and there was nothing with Him. So glorious is He, Exalted be He, above what these polytheists say.
