With respect to what ye hath inquired of concerning the Verse of Light which hath been aforetime sent down upon Muhammad, the Messenger of God, know that this is a verse the meaning of which the worlds cannot sustain. Even in the event that the Fingers of divine Strength were to inscribe all that hath been and all that is to be with countless pens from the knowledge of God, and all of whatsoever is within the divine Order, not an ocean of ink would suffice, nor could the meaning of a single letter which hath been sent down through the Tongue of Glory regarding this blessed and heavenly revealed Verse ever be exhausted. I shall, however, sprinkle upon thee a dewdrop from the vials of knowledge and wisdom so that ye may be of those who hasten unto the fields of knowledge and drink their fill from the Chalice of Loving Providence proffered from the hand of the divine Youth seated upon the Throne of Infinite Grace.
