The other statement of the adversary is as follows: Firstly, the one whose claim and demand I am presenting, His Holiness the Báb, whom you call the Supreme Lord, has indeed established His verses in truth and has referred to His verses as proof of His legitimacy, and none of the believers deny this. And it is certain [42] that you too cannot deny it; rather, your confirmation and that of others has been based on the verses of the Báb.
