A questioner asked a mystic [121],

"When did you attain the divine mysteries?"

"Have you become intoxicated by the wine of grace?

Do you remember the day of Alast?"

He replied, "I remember that voice and speech,

which has always been, and this is not strange.

In my ears is still the sound of it,

and that voice which increases the spirit and soul."

Another mystic, who had ascended higher,

was immersed in the divine secrets.

He said, "That day of God has not ended,

we are in that day, it has not fallen short."
