Know that those disjointed letters, in the context of the Names, point to the eternal beings, the unifying realities, and the essence of existence, just as you read in the Qur'an where His exalted Light said at the beginning of the book: "Alif Lam Mim, This is the Book in which there is no doubt, a guide for the righteous." In this station, Allah named His beloved with these expanded, disjointed letters so that those who soar on the wings of detachment in the air of the spirit may be certain of this.
