22 O son of desire,

People of knowledge and insight have strived for years, yet they have not attained union with the Possessor of Majesty. They have run their entire lives, but have not reached the meeting with the Possessor of Beauty. And here you are, having arrived at the destination without seeking, and having attained the goal without desiring it. Yet, despite all these ranks and stations, you have veiled your soul to such an extent that your eyes did not fall upon the beauty of the Beloved, and your hands did not reach the embrace of the Friend. So, wonder at this, O possessors of insight!
